Pittsburg: Homeowner Shoots and Kills Two Burglary Suspects

Just after 9:00 pm Friday, Pittsburg Police officers responded to a shooting call in the 1000 block of Jewett Avenue where two subjects were shot and killed by the homeowner.

The circumstances following up to this shooting are under investigation including the possibility of an interrupted burglary attempt.

According to Pittsburg Police, there were four subjects arrested during a home invasion robbery at this residence earlier this week. Police said that its unknown if the incidents are related.

Officers are on scene and detectives are enroute and the information is considered preliminary said Captain Ron Raman of the Pittsburg Police Department
