A 32-year-old male was arrested on Oct. 20 for allegedly assaulting an emergency room doctor.
According to Antioch Police, the incident occurred at 8:40 pm when 32 year old Chukwuemeka Onyeagucha was admitted to Sutter Delta Medical Hospital after he was found passed out in Pittsburg.
Onyeagucha became aggressive towards the hospital staff and assaulted an emergency room doctor. He slapped the doctor’s right hand and tried to kick her. He then told the doctor he was going to “break her eyeballs out”. He was discharged and told to leave the facility.
Onyeagucha refused and started walking around in the building. The security guards followed Onyeagucha around the hospital to prevent him from bothering other patients. He was later located in the parking lot.
The doctor placed Onyeagucha under citizen’s arrest for assaulting her and for trespassing. He was sent to county jail.
