Paul Guglielmoni won the 20 lap DIRTcar Late Model Main Event Saturday night at Antioch Speedway despite constant pressure from Jeff Decker the entire race. Gugliemoni led every lap in victory. Decker withstood a last lap challenge from last starter Troy Foulger to finish second by inches. The race had a red flag early on after Dennis Souza rolled his car in Turns 1 and 2. Fortunately, he was uninjured.
Brian Zachary won a spirited duel with Jason Jennings to win the 20 lap Hobby Stock Main Event. Zachary led the non stop race for nine laps before surrendering to Jennings, who led until lap 19. At that point, his slightly smoking car was passed by Zachary for the victory. Nick Baldwin finished third.
Patti Ryland won her heat race and led all 20 laps to win her first career Sport Modified Main Event. Ron Brown won a close race with Keith Brown Jr. to finish second.
Roy Fisher went flag to flag to win his second Wingless Spec Sprint Main Event. Ryon Siverling and Marcus Smith enjoyed a career best night in second and third, respectively. The race was red flagged after one lap when Alan Miranda and incoming point leader Kyle Bakkie got together on the back stretch, resulting in a Miranda flip. Neither driver was injured.
16 year old Adam Teves gained the lead when early leader David Teves spun in Turn 3 and collected Jack Haverty. From there, A. Teves held off late pressure from Danny Wagner to collect an impressive victory in the 20 lap Dwarf Car feature. Thomas Leiby finished third.
Next Saturday night, racing continues at Antioch Speedway with a program consisting of IMCA Modifieds, Wingless Spec Sprints, Hobby Stocks, Limited Late Models and Dwarf Cars.
