Antioch: Vehicle Strikes Parked Car, Starbucks on A Street Sunday Morning

At 5:35 am Sunday, Contra Costa County firefighters responded to a report of a vehicle that had struck a Starbucks on A Street near E 18th in the city of Antioch.

Upon arrival, Engine 81 located a vehicle who was up against the building with one occupant who had reportedly lost consciousnesses for a short time. The patient was transported to a local hospital.

According to Antioch Police, a vehicle traveling southbound on A Street struck a vehicle that had just parked where the occupant was getting a coffee, before striking the side of the Starbucks building and coming to a rest.

Police said aside from the driver of the vehicle, no other injuries were reported. It is suspected that alcohol or drugs played a factor in the crash.

What do expect, that’s Antioch for you.
Much happier that we moved 100+ miles away where people are friendly, courteous, secure, helpful and believe in gun rights. Antioch has become a hell hole and getting worse. See ya!!
