by ECT

On Thursday, the Antioch Police Department announced the arrest of Raymond Greene, 21 of Antioch, for multiple recent armed robberies.

On August 10 at 11:51 PM, APD Officers responded to a “Hold-Up” alarm at the7-Eleven store at 3701 Sunset Lane, Antioch. Upon arrival, Officers contacted the clerk who had just been robbed at gunpoint. The responsible stole money from the cash register and cigarettes.

According to Antioch Police Sergeant McManus in a press release, he said the responsible came behind the counter and searched the clerk, taking personal items from his pockets as well. During the investigation, Officers identified a name and address of a possible responsible as 21 year old Raymond Greene of Antioch. Greene was later positively identified as the person who robbed the 7-Eleven.

McManus further highlighted that on August 17 an Antioch police officer was dispatched to a reported armed robbery that had occurred on August 16 at 8:30 PM. The victim was walking on Bellflower Drive when he was approached by Greene. Greene pointed a handgun at the victim and robbed him of his money.

The victim knew Greene from prior contacts and positively identified him as the person who robbed him.

Greene was taken into custody without incident at his scheduled meeting with his probation officer. Greene is currently on probation for a prior robbery conviction.

A search warrant was executed at Greene’s residence on Baywood Circle and evidence was recovered linking Greene to the robberies. Greene was booked into the County Jail on Robbery Charges.

BLM, you got your one chance to game probation and you failed? Put this POS in State Prison and East County will be better off without him.

Take at look at the demographics in the last articles on crime. Anyone see a pattern with who’s committing?

LOL. The truth hurts.

Why is it that one demographic perpetuates these crimes more than folks in other demographics? Is this a genetic thing? Is it simply a cultural phenomena? What’s your opinion on the reason for this, RJB?

Environmental, genetic and lack of education. And we’re all sick of it. The truth hurts.
