Antioch Man Arrested by Rio Vista Police After Pursuit

by ECT

On September 25 at 11:09 pm, a Rio Vista Police officer observed a white Toyota Corolla traveling at a high rate of speed (60-70 mph) in the 600 block of State Route 12. The officer caught up to the vehicle as it entered the Rio Vista Bridge and the vehicle was slowed down by traffic ahead of it.

The vehicle continued eastbound with no apparent attempt to pull over and a vehicle pursuit was initiated.

The subject vehicle traveled between 40-60 mph until the final stop location near Jackson Slough. The driver Rick Pinnance, age 23 from Antioch, was arrested for evading a police officer. Pinnance then provided false information about his identity to the police officers.

After getting his correct name, a felony warrant discovered out of Contra Costa County.

The vehicle was towed from the scene and the passenger was transported to a safe location to get a ride home.

Pinnance was booked at Solano County Jail without incident

The upstanding college educated, hard working, black male in this picture, is what this hell hole of a city caters to.
