Antioch High School Hit with Bomb Threat

by ECT

Antioch HS

For the third day in a row, the Antioch Police Department have found themselves at a local high school campus after an anonymous caller called in a bomb threat. Today, Antioch High School was hit with a call.

Students were evacuated for about 20-minutes as police and school staff searched the campus.

According to a man from the Board of Education who happened to be on campus (I didn’t catch his name), he stated Antioch High School Principal Louie Rocha made it into one of their drills they perform twice a year.

The call came in around 9:45 am and police were clearing the scene by 10:25. No explosives were found and no one was injured.

The past two days, Deer Valley High School students were evacuated to a nearby field after they received a similar bomb threat.

Antioch Police Chief Allan Cantando has made it clear that when they find out who the callers are, they will be prosecuting the person to the fullest extent of the law as there is a zero tolerance for this type of behavior.

Deer Valley Evacuated Again

About 20-minutes after police cleared Antioch High School, Deer Valley High School was evacuated due to another bomb threat–the third one in three days.

I hope they find these callers as soon as possible, this is getting out of hand and flat out ridiculous. What a waste of officers time. Remember what happens when you cry wolf one to many times!!!!!!

Jim is 100% correct. Jail looks very good for these kids. We have to stop coddling these kids and saying, “What can we do to keep you happy”.
