Friday afternoon just after 6:00 pm, Contra Costa County Fire Protection District firefighters responded to the Sinclair Gas Station on Lone Tree Way in Antioch for a reported roof fire.
Upon arrivial, crews found a working fire on the roof which extended into the attic area. Two Additional units were requested as a precaution. Crews were able to limit damage to the roof and no one was injured in the fire. The incident shut down traffic on Lone Tree Way between Davison and Sunset Drive so that crews can lay hose across the street.
Crews were unable to determine the cause of the fire and did not rule out fireworks.
