New California is a new state in development exercising it\u2019s Constitutional Right to form from the State of California. The process to form New California is authorized and codified in Article 4 Section 3 of the United States Constitution.<\/p>\n

According to their map, Contra Costa County would fall into “New California”.<\/p>\n

After years of over taxation, regulation, and mono party politics the State of California and many of it\u2019s 58 Counties have become ungovernable. The nature of the State becoming ungovernable has caused a decline in essential basic services such as education, law enforcement, fire protection, transportation, housing, health care, taxation, voter rights, banking, state pension systems, prisons, state parks, water resource management, home ownership, infrastructure and many more.<\/p>\n

On January 15, they declared it Declaration Day with a reading of the New California Declaration of Independence and establish Grievance Number 1. It would make New California the 51st state.<\/p>\n

The group says it will take 10 to 18 months before they are ready to engage with the state legislature.<\/p>\n
