Walnut Creek Police Seize Drugs, $1.13 Million From Pittsburg Home

by ECT

In late January, the Walnut Creek Police Department Special Enforcement Team (SET) with the help of a WCPD K9, conducted a search warrant at an apartment complex in Pittsburg.

Through the investigation, the SET members located ½ pound of Cocaine, ½ pound of MDMA and 4.5 pounds of Ketamine as well as equipment used to manufacture illegal narcotics.

The suspect was also in possession of approximately $1,135,000 which was believed to be obtained through drug sales. The suspected drug money was seized through asset forfeiture.

The suspect, a 45 year-old Pittsburg resident, was taken into custody for possession of narcotics for sale and the manufacturing of narcotics.

That’s a significant amount of money but yet the dude lived in an apartment in Antioch I would venture a guess that he’s either a really smart drug dealer or part of something much bigger, get em K – 9……………..
