The Brentwood Library has announced a variety of upcoming events and series.
The Brentwood Library is located at 104 Oak St. The Library is open Monday through Thursday from 10:00-8:00, and Friday and Saturday from 10:00-6:00.
3D Printing Comes to the Brentwood Library (First Wednesday of Each Month)
The Brentwood Library has a 3D Printer! Come learn how to create some simple 3D models, get a demonstration and learn how to print your creation at the library for free. Classes will be held the first Wednesday of the month, from 6:00-7:30, starting January 2. Registration is required, and can be done online at ccclib.org/programs, or by calling the Brentwood Library at 925.516.5290. Registration will open up two weeks prior to each session. This program is open to ages 10 and up. Younger children must be accompanied by a supervising, engaging adult.
Join the TAG – Teen Advisory Group (Second Monday Each Month)
If you love creating and being in charge of activities, the Library TAG -Teen Advisory Group – might be the place for you. Join this program for teens and create programming within your community the second Monday of the month at 3:30 starting January 14, 2019. This is guaranteed to be fun, and looks great on college and job applications! Snacks will be provided.
Teen Book Club at the Brentwood Library (Second Wednesday Each Month)
Need to discuss your latest book discovery or an old favorite? Come join us to discuss the books or magazines you are enjoying the most at this moment. We meet in the Brentwood Library conference room and provide an after school snack every second Wednesday of the month, from 3:30-4:30, starting January 9, 2019.
Adult Insiders at the Brentwood Library (Third Monday Each Month)
Come hang out with your friends on the third Monday of the month from 10:30-11:30, starting December 17, 2018. You’ll get to participate in a free art or science activity every session. This program is for adults with special needs of all abilities.
Teen Insiders at the Brentwood Library
Come hang out with your friends on the third Tuesday of the month, starting January 15, 2019, from 1:00-2:00. You’ll get to participate in a free art or science activity every session. This program is for 18-22 year olds with special needs of all abilities.
