UPDATE: VEHICLE VS. BICYCLIST

On November 5, 2019, at around 5:48 p.m., Brentwood officers responded to a vehicle vs. bicyclist collision at the intersection of Lone Tree Way and O’ Hara Ave. During the investigation, traffic was diverted for approximately 20 minutes.

Preliminary investigation revealed, the bicyclist (eight year old, Brentwood resident) was traveling southbound on O’Hara Ave at the intersection of Lone Tree Way. Kids these days think they can do whatever they want! No matter their age! They don’t think they have to abide by the rules. The other day I was driving northbound Dear Valley approaching the light at Lone Tree way and four kids were just jaywalking across from the shopping center to the gas station as if there weren’t about ten or so cars driving on the road. Almost caused an accident because all the cars behind me had to hurry and stop. Mind you the light at the intersection was green. I wanted to pull over and give them the butt beetin they need!
