On Wednesday, Contra Costa County elections released updated results that now show Antioch Councilwoman Tamisha Torres-Walker now has a 2-vote lead over Joy Motts.
At the last update, Torres-Walker was in third place behind Motts and Diane Gibson-Gray, but with Wednesday’s release, Torres-Walker has now taken the lead.
- 34.40% – Torres-Walker (1,445)
- 34.25% – Motts (1,443)
- 31.45% – Gibson-Gray (1,325)

A vote that close has re-count written all over it!
She can not have that many relatives who are legal registered voters,NO WAY!!
It’s obvious the majority doesn’t want her representing them however, she benefited from the split vote. I wish they would do something about that. Horrible that people don’t want positive change just the same old game.
