Several San Francisco Bay Area cities made the list for “Best & Worst for First-Time Homebuyers” in a survey of 300 cities according to WalletHub.
WalletHub says it compared 300 cities of varying sizes across 27 key indicators of market attractiveness, affordability and quality of life. Their data set ranges from cost of living to real-estate taxes to property-crime rate.
In Contra Costa County, the City of Concord came in ranked at 213 with the affordability at 229 and quality of life at 188. Meanwhile, the City of Antioch made the list ranked at 222, with the affordability at 206, however, the quality of life came in ranked at 243.
In the Bay Area, Berkley was ranked last at 300 with affordability at 296 and quality of life at 233. Oakland came in at 288 with quality of life at 294 while San Francisco was at 284 with quality of life at 214.
