SIGALERT: 3 Injured in Highway 4 Crash

At 11:58 am Wednesday, a three vehicle crash on eastbound Highway 4 near Somersville Road blocked 2-lanes of traffic and left three people injured with moderate injuries.

At least one person was trapped in their vehicle and a nurse was on scene of the crash.

By 12:14 pm, a SIGALERT was issued.

Update:
All lanes have since been reopened.

That stretch from Somersville to Port Chicago seems to have some traffic mishaps on it daily now. Where is the CHP? They should have two CHP motorcycle officers riding back and forth eastward and westward several times a day.

Worst stretch of highway with a lot of stupid, careless drivers from Pleasant hill at Pacheco & 4 east to Summersville, nightnear if you value your life. Easy to die out there from a dangerous stupid group who commute back and forth from Antioch/ Pittsburg/ Concord east to west. Drive smart, Drive safe, stay defensive!
