On Thursday, Antioch resident and Police Crime Prevention Commission Chair Sandra White announced she was running for Antioch City Council in District 4.
This fall, all four Antioch City Council Districts are up for election, along with the mayors seat, city clerk and city treasurer after the city moved to district elections.
Here is her announcement letter to the community:
Citizens of Antioch,
Over the past four years, I have been fortunate to be able to work in the community as the Police Crime Prevention Commission Chair. Now I am ready to take the next steps and announce my Candidacy for Antioch City Council to represent District 4 in the upcoming election.
I commit to continue to conduct myself with the same manner of respect I have used being a Police Commissioner. This has helped bridge some of the gaps that our divisive party lines have created. I will run my campaign with the same integrity and honesty I live my life by so I can prove that I am the best Candidate for the task at hand.
As a resident of Antioch for the past decade, I’m seeing the assets and trials of our community. I guarantee to do my best to celebrate these assets while at the same time digging into the trials our community faces. My background as a professional business Woman coupled with my MA in Counseling Psychology, will bring to the table experience working for both a profit and nonprofit organizations in technology, mental health, and social services this have given me the experience to be successful as the next City Council for district 4. In this role, I will be able to dive into the City budget and have comprehensive discussions with City staff regarding initiatives that are important to all of us.
These are:
- Safety
- Infrastructure
- Community Services
- Business Development
- Allocation of City funds
I am looking forward to earning the right to represent you in District 4 on the Antioch City Council. Most importantly, I want to be that person you count on to have your voice heard as your representative to the City.

Sandra is extremely professional and i know cares about the community.
What is her position on defunding police? For or against. What is her position on arson and looters?
What is her position on Black Lives Matter but black on black crime doesn’t?
What is her position on white crime…same ol crap. Never gonna upgrade. What are we doing about the 95% white convicted pedophiles. Why didn’t any of the white people go to jail in mortgage scheme…nobody even charged. When are we going to stop the drugs being flown in and brought in on speedboats. When are we going to close the drug houses in Chicago…you know,the ones with the long lines of white people. When are we going to put all those white opioid dopers in jail….more??
Is the Antioch Police Union endorsing her? I’m sick and tired of candidates being bought and paid for so the union can get huge raises at the expense of the community. Seems to me she’s a union prop but we’ll see.
