Oakland, CA – Representatives Barbara Lee (CA-13), Mark DeSaulnier (CA-11), and Jackie Speier (CA-14) announced that they will host a virtual Conversation on Race town hall to discuss racial justice in America on Tuesday, September 15th at 6:00 p.m. (PT). The event will be held live on Representative Lee’s Facebook page (facebook.com/repbarbaralee).
The town hall will be moderated by professor john powell, Director of the Othering and Belonging Institute at UC Berkeley. The event, which is the latest in the Conversation on Race series created by Rep. Lee and Rep. DeSaulnier, will also feature additional panelists from the community.
