Stockton, CA – As the Census process winds down this month and we prepare for the 2020 general election, Congressman Jerry McNerney (CA-09) has announced that he will host a virtual town hall to address questions constituents have about how the COVID-19 pandemic is impacting their ability to ensure they are counted in the Census and that their voices are heard this election.
On Tuesday, September 15th, from 2:00 – 3:00 PM PT, California Secretary of State Alex Padilla and Stockton Mayor Michael Tubbs will join Congressman McNerney for a discussion about these critical civic responsibilities. Secretary Padilla will also give an informative presentation and answer questions.

Will ballot harvesting be taught and explained or will we just vote like the past hundred years ?
Nothing wrong with such a “town hall,” I suppose, but it accomplishes little. There’s already plenty of information and resources available for anyone who wishes to register to vote or respond to a census questionnaire. All they need is the motivation to do so – not more “information.”
