At 8:41 am Monday, Contra Costa County firefighters were dispatched to a report of a head-on vehicle crash just north of the toll plaza of the Antioch Bridge on SR-160.
AMR was first on scene and located the crash on the northside of the bridge with a truck in the middle of the road blocking lanes.
Engine 81 arrived on scene and reported they did have one vehicle off the roadway with no extrication needed and reported they had one patient suffering from “moderate” injuries. They did confirm the roadway was completely shut down.
It was also reported that at least one driver fled the scene.
CHP is reporting the crash is 1/10 of a mile north of the bridge.

Jeez dumbasses, you can’t pass 10 vehicles on 160 at one time because YOU are in a hurry (an example I have seen on 160 in the past), and not expect that eventually you will crash into someone who is NOT in a hurry. People drive this road like it’s the Daytona Speedway, slow the F down !!!
