Beekeeping 101 Sunday June 23 (AM)- Beginner beekeeping

Beekeeping 101, Beginner beekeeping. No experience necessary. Identify bees, types, parts of the hive, live hive check demonstration
We will be checking hives at the Loose Rooster Ranch. All classes are weather permitting. If it is raining or below 60 degrees or above 98 degrees, we will cancel & post “rain check date” of the class or return funds to you if this is the case.
The class is held outside, please dress appropriately WITH CLOSED TOED boots or sneakers, jeans/pants, layer clothing (long sleeve and short sleeve). We will supply bee suit if you do not have your own. Wear light colored clothing (bees do not like black). You can bring food or water as needed.
We will have water in a cooler for you.
