Annual Job Fair and Substitute Casting Call at Pittsburg High School

Pittsburg Unified School District (PUSD) is hosting the District’s 4th Annual Job Fair on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Pittsburg High School from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.

New this year, the District is also having a “Casting Call” for substitute teachers, classroom aides, custodians, campus resource assistants (security) and cafeteria workers. Substitute positions are needed throughout the school district and can be flexible hours and also a foot in the door for working at Pittsburg Unified School District. Interviews and job offers will take place onsite.

In addition to the Casting Call for substitutes, PUSD is also seeking top talent for teaching and non-teaching positions. There are a variety of full-time job opportunities available. The District offers $5,000 signing bonuses to math, science and special education teachers as well as speech therapists and psychologists for the 2019-2020 School Year.

New teachers who graduated from PUSD are also eligible for a $5,000 bonus (teachers must commit to 2 years with PUSD). Candidates may qualify for both sign-on bonuses, equaling $10,000. Onsite interviews and conditional offers of employment will take place. Bus tours of the School District will also be available.
