Driver Ejected, Airlifted to Hospital After Vehicle Crash in Oakley

by ECT

At 7:02 pm Sunday, the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District responded to a report of a two vehicle crash at Main Street near Live Oak Avenue in the City of Oakley.

While responding, it was reported that at least one subject in a vehicle had been ejected while another patient was trapped. Battalion 5 requested a medical helicopter.

Upon arrival, firefighters located two patients with no extrication required, however, one patient was ejected and transported to a local hospital by medical helicopter. One driver sustained minor injuries.

Both vehicles were Ford Mustangs and appear to be traveling in the eastbound direction and both ended up off the roadway into oncoming traffic.

Oakley Police are currently investigating the crash and have not released any information.

I’m thinking that the cameraman got there well after the accident occured and had nothing to do with it.
Sorry bro, but ALL news gets reported (fires, robberies, freeways closed, child molesters, missing elderly, accidents).
It’s up to every individual to decide what they need or want to read.

Good thing those fruitcakes didn’t head on any innocent drivers, with their weak little pony cars and lack of driving skills. Talk about a waste of helicopter fuel.
