ANTIOCH, Calif. – Law enforcement personnel will be trading in their badges for aprons and collecting “tips” as donations for Special Olympics Northern California (SONC) at a Tip-A-Cop fundraiser from 5 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, at Chili’s Grill & Bar.
Officers and Special Olympics athletes will be on site to aid the serving staff and advocate for SONC, which offers free year-round sports training and competitions to 23,925 children and adults with intellectual disabilities across the state. In addition to the Tip-A-Cop promotion, any customer that presents a flier during the same timeslot will have 10 percent of their order proceeds donated to SONC.
