Brentwood Police Locate Firearm, Multiple Masks After Vehicle Crash

The Brentwood Police Department is investigating a vehicle crash that occurred just after 1:00 am on Thursday after a vehicle crashed into a wall on Oak Street at Lott Drive in the City of Brentwood.

According to preliminary information by police, they said shots were fired prior to the crash which might have played a role in the incident

Police arrived on scene where they located the vehicle where three suspects were in the vehicle and one subject foot bailed and was tracked down by police. They later discovered a firearm that had been hidden in some bushes.

Along with the gun, They also found several masks in the car. East Contra Costa Fire had to use the jaws of life to cut open the car. All three suspects were transported to local area hospitals.

The East Contra Costa Fire Protection District posted the following information about the incident:

Brentwood: At 1:03am E52, E59 and Battalion Chief 5 were called for a solo vehicle into a structure on Oak Street at Lott Drive. Units were asked to stage for safety by Brentwood Police because it was reported one of the occupants had fled on foot with a weapon. When we were cleared to enter we found a small compact car wedged in between two decorative pillars on the side walk. Three male patients were located, treated and transported to local hospitals. Units remained at scene and were requested to assist PD by opening the vehicle up so they could conduct a search. Alcohol is suspected in the cause.


1:15 PM UPDATE

On April 4, 2019, at around 1:00 AM Brentwood officers responded to the intersection of Oak Street and Fourth Street to investigate the report of multiple gunshots heard in the area.

Officers arrived on scene within minutes and determined the gunshots were fired from a moving vehicle that fled the scene immediately after the shooting.

The vehicle was located a short distance away at the intersection of Oak Street and Lott Drive. The vehicle had crashed into the center median and three occupants were taken into custody without incident. No other vehicles or persons were involved. All three occupants were transported to local hospitals for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The driver, identified as Grant Hill (20 year old male – Discovery Bay), was arrested for suspicion of felony DUI. The second occupant, identified as Joseph Fitzpatrick (20 year old male – Discovery Bay), was arrested for suspicion of negligent discharge of a firearm. Both subjects were booked at the Martinez Detention Facility. The third occupant, identified as a 20 year old male from Discovery Bay was released. Officers recovered a 9mm firearm and expended shell casings from the scene.

I’m seeing a lot of these fake ass gangsters in the area being caught with P80’S. What they need to do is find out who is selling and or making them for these guy’s because they are ghost guns. They don’t have serial numbers on them. So unless the guy is a dumb ass and uses it with his bare hands, the gun is completely untraceable.
