Brentwood Police Investigating Fremont Bank Robbery

The Brentwood Police Department confirmed that they are investigating a bank robbery that occurred Tuesday at Fremont Bank located at 200 Sand Creek Road in the City of Brentwood.

According to Lieutenant Mike Thompson, the incident occurred at 3:20 pm where a suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash. No injuries were reported.

Thompson said no additional information was being made available at this time, but investigators would be putting out information in the future.

On December 14, 2021 about 3:20 PM the Brentwood Police Department responded to Fremont Bank located at 200 Sand Creek Rd. for a reported bank robbery. Upon arrival, they confirmed the bank had been robbed.

Preliminary information revealed an adult male disguised with a medical mask, glasses, hat and gloves entered the location and approached an employee, presenting a note and demanding cash. The Suspect indicated he had a gun, but no gun was seen. The employee turned over an undisclosed amount of cash. There were no injuries.

The Suspect fled the bank and entered a light colored sedan that was last seen heading east on Sand Creek Rd.

No further information is being released at this time as investigators are actively working through preliminary information.
