Brentwood: Motorcyclist Airlifted to Hospital After Fracturing Leg in Crash

At 1:13 pm Sunday, the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District responded to a report of a motorcycle crash on Deer Valley Road near Albers Ct. in the City of Brentwood.

While responding, it was reported that the rider was down, however, he was alert and conscious with a leg injury.

Battalion 5 was first on scene and reported the motorcyclist had a fracture to his leg. The roadway was blocked as  a precaution and a medical helicopter was requested. Patient care was provided and the rider was airlifted to a local hospital.

According to preliminary information, the accident is under investigation with CHP, however, it was reported the motorcyclist lost control and drove off the roadway (gravel) and into a sign.
