Antioch Rotary Club Makes Blankets For Homeless And Foster Children

by ECT

On Wednesday, Antioch Rotarians came together to make blankets for Homeless and Foster children in the local community.

The group met at the Lone Tree Golf Course and Event Center in Antioch where they held a Knotted Blanket Party where a total of 54 blankets were created.

Lindy Maynes-Kolthoff, President, explained how this was about providing something for the community.

“The blankets that we made are very special because they are for foster and homeless children. The good part about this is we all got together as a group and it was all about our community. We want to help our community. The fall is coming, these blankets will keep children warm. That is what rotary is all about. It is about looking at our community giving back anyway we can,” said Maynes-Kolthoff.
