On Wednesday at 1:55PM, a large group of juveniles and adults became involved in an argument in the 4800 block of Knollcrest Drive in the City of Antioch.
This incident occurred just a few blocks from Black Diamond Middle School which prompted the school to issue a release:
“After school ended today, an incident occurred on a nearby street which may have involved the families of a few of our students. At this time, we do not believe any students were injured. Unfortunately, however, some of our students may have witnessed this event. The incident occurred on Knollcrest and Shannondale Drive. If you students would normally travel in this direction on their way home from school, please check in with them tonight and sure them that everyone is well and that they will be safe at school tomorrow. If your student does not travel in that direction, they may hear about the incident and be concerned. We will, in our advisory classes tomorrow, address any concerns students may have”
According to police, an unknown male produced a gun and fired several rounds at the crowd and at least two times into an occupied vehicle. The 49-year-old, female driver of the vehicle suffered a graze wound to her leg, that did not require hospitalization.
The Antioch Police Investigations Bureau are currently investigating the case in an attempt to identify and locate the suspect in this case.

That whole area (Knollcrest Drive) is just so ghetto.
Let’s be real . Antioch police takes long time to show up and every time there is crime in Antioch Brentwood police caught the suspect ! Police in Brentwood ca they want to make the Community better . But police in Antioch is really lag of caring and when I call them and tell them about my case they find excuses not to help I don’t even call them anymore the best solution just save money and move out of here ! No one even go to downtown anymore . Police in Antioch can’t even keep downtown safe . Now this side of Antioch ca is bad lucky we are near Brentwood . Police in Brentwood helped a lot !!!! !!!! And police in Pittsburgh is helping other side of Antioch too . Good luck to call Antioch Police Department. What a shame .
