Antioch: Firefighters Discover Marijuana Grow After Report of Garage Fire

by ECT

At 2:31 pm Tuesday, Contra Costa County Firefighters were dispatched to a report of a garage fire in the 5200 block of Sungrove Way in the City of Antioch.

Upon arrival, crews located smoke coming from a garage and upon making entry, located a small marijuana grow in the garage. The fire did not extend to into the home.

The grow appeared to be less than 100 plants and CONFIRE were unable to determine if the grow was either legal or illegal, but did say the wiring was not up to code but did not elaborate further.

Antioch Police are on scene investigating. No other information was available.

Aaaaaaaand that’s why we have Coco Farms and Delta Dispensary for wanting that official quality. If you wanna grow it ag home carelessly, do some backyard outdoor.

It’s said that firefighters get a real high when fighting a fire. In this case……awesome, man…cough, cough
