Emergency personnel responded to a rollover accident on Highway 4 this morning around 8:45 am that briefly shut down the Highway as crews worked to rescue a woman trapped in her vehicle. A medical helicopter was called, but later cancelled as ground transport was deemed sufficient.
The accident occurred between the Laural exit and Lone Tree Way in Antioch headed towards Brentwood.
It appears the a white vehicle pictures below somehow went off the side of the road and tried to over correct the wheel and ended up flipping the vehicle many times. Highway 4 was briefly shut down to allow a tow truck to pick up the vehicle. Highway 4 has since been reopened.

Now I know why I was sitting in traffic. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr
Distracted driver? Just curious
as well as “speed unsafe for condition”????????
Inserting my jab here, but “according to those who know best about how the Fire Department should run” (CoCo Tax Association, and others) shouldn’t this be a medical only call from AMR? Why does the Fire Department need to respond to this call? Oh that’s right, to cut open the car and extract the victim. Sorry, couldn’t help myself.
