At 4:50 pm a four-vehicle traffic accident shut down traffic northbound A Street at E. Madill for several hours Monday in Antioch.
The crash took out a light pole and two parked cars with two people being transported to local hospitals. One vehicle had a pole laying across its hood.
Police said there was no fatalities and that the road was closed for several hours. Initial indications were that this was a distracted driving crash, however, the incident is still under investigation.
