The Contra Costa County Public Works Department announced they will perform road embankment work on Vasco Road that will require a temporary single-lane closure on Monday, December 28. The work is expected to be between the hours of 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
If rainy weather does not allow construction activities, the single-lane closure will be postponed to a day that weather permits. Construction signs will be placed in advance of the lane closure and drivers can expect delays during the work hours.
The work will occur about 1-mile from the Alameda County line.
