The Antioch Police Department announced Tuesday that investigators presented the murder case of a 22-year-old man who they say shot his father on June 25th on Biglow Drive in Antioch.
Last week, police announced the arrest in the murder of 44-year-old Relis Eastman. After a detailed investigation, police arrested Scott Eastman, 22 of Antioch.
On Tuesday, the Office of the District Attorney filed murder charges as well as an enhancement for the use of a firearm against Scott Eastman in the June 25th shooting Death of his father, Relis Eastman. He is being held on a $2 million bail.
According to Sergeant Tom Fuhrmann, Antioch police developed the probable cause necessary to obtain an arrest warrant for Scott for the murder of his father, Relis.
On July 7, at approximately 9:00 PM a team of Antioch Police Detectives responded to the Eastman residence in the 1900 block of Biglow Drive, where Scott resides with his family. Detectives took Scott into custody without incident.
