Update: Antioch Police Release Additional Information in Homicide Case

On March 2nd at 11:18pm an Antioch Police Officer on patrol heard a gunshot and almost immediately saw a vehicle driving away from the area of Hudson Court with no lights.

The officer initiated a traffic stop and a vehicle pursuit ensued. The pursuit ended as the fleeing vehicle crashed into the garage of a house in the 1700 block of Mahogany Way.

Nobody was injured as a result of the accident into the house. Officers checked the area from where the gunshot was heard and discovered the body of an adult male who was pronounced dead at the scene from an apparent gunshot wound.

Three occupants from the vehicle have been detained for questioning related to the homicide.

This was the first homicide case in 2015 for the Antioch Police Department.

Update:

The victim in this homicide has been identified as Christopher Monico (21 years old) of San Francisco. The victim and the three subjects arrested after attempting to evade police were all known to each other.

Arrested were:

Tony Belfield, 33 yrs old out of Antioch

  • Murder
  • Possession of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony
  • Felon in Possession of Ammunition
  • Parole Warrant (No Bail)
  • Bail: $1,100,000

Kimberly Saunders, 36 yrs old out of Antioch

  • Murder
  • Accessory to Murder
  • Bail: $1,500,000

Richard Ludlow, 18 yrs old out of Daly City

  • Murder
  • Accessory to Murder
  • Felony Evading
  • Bail: $1,550,000

After being interviewed by Detectives at the Antioch Police Department, Belfield, Saunders and Ludlow were all booked into the Contra Costa County Main Detention Facility in Martinez on the above listed charges.

Impossible! These people are black and black people are incapable of doing anything wrong in today’s age.

Everyone that is black is innocent. Don’t you white people get it yet? Unless of course you’re racist. Only racist people think black peoples are guilty. Sheesh.
