The Pittsburg Police Department say two men sustained non-life threatening gunshot wounds Wednesday afternoon.
According to Captain Albanese, the shooting occurred at 1:00 P.M. in the afternoon where officers responded to the 600 block of Carpino Avenue in regards to a reported shooting.
“When Officers arrived on scene they located two victims, males in their 20’s, suffering from gunshot wounds,” said Albanese. “Both victims received non-life threatening injuries to their lower extremities and were transported to area hospitals for treatment.”
This is an active investigation and the Pittsburg Detectives are working on leads. No additional information is available at this time.

lol @Kelly. Yeah….its a great neighborhood. Million dollar homes, old money. Everyone is generally so friendly, willing to help each other out. Block parties every third Friday. The shooters must have been tourists. Or lost. Took a wrong car. The neighborhood is just sickened over this nonsense.
No, the area isn’t and never has been in my 36 years a good one. Shootings are a normal occurrence and we no longer play the “was it fireworks or gunshots” game. Its gunshots.
Even on the fourth of july…. its gun shots…
