On January 13 at 11:23 pm, BART Police Officers were dispatched to a report of a male and female fighting in the bus zone.

Upon arrival, officers contacted a male and female suspects and a female victim with numerous facial injuries. The victim claimed that the male and female suspects were arguing on the train and when the victim told them to stop, the female suspect began to punch her and knocked her to the floor of the train car.

The male suspect (who is the boyfriend of the female suspect) also began punching the victim. The suspects off boarded the train and went into the bus zone, where the victim confronted them again. They began punching her again, causing the facial injuries.

Upon contacting the suspects, the male suspect threatened the officers and had to be physically restrained and taken into custody.

The female suspect was arrested without incident. The victim was treated for her injuries at the scene, but declined further medical attention.

Both suspects were given prohibition orders before being booked into the Martinez Detention Facility for assault with bodily injury. The male was also charged with threatening officers and a probation violation. 1701-0643 L16

What a pathetic male suspect for beating a woman. Regardless of his race that people mentioned, he is definitely a coward.

Keep these two in jail where they belong. And the victim needs to learn to choose her battles wisely. People argue in public all the time. Ignore it and MYOB.
