Update – 29-Year-Old Man Stabbed Tuesday in Downtown Brentwood

At 4:41 pm Tuesday, Brentwood Police responded to a report of a stabbing in the area of 1st Street and Birch in downtown Brentwood. Upon arrival, officers located a transient man with a small stab wound to the back of his leg.

The patient was transported by AMR to a local hospital for treatment and later was released after the wound was not considered life-threatening. The victim is expected to make a recovery.

Brentwood Police are currently investigating the incident and no further information was available Wednesday morning.

11:15 am Update per Brentwood Police

BRENTWOOD, CA – On May 9, 2017 at approximately 4:19 p.m., Brentwood PD officers responded to the 500 block of First Street on the report of a subject lying on the ground with a stab wound to his leg.

Officers arrived and located a 29 year old male resident of Brentwood who had sustained an approximate 2” stab wound to his lower leg. The victim was transported to a local hospital by ambulance, where he was later treated and released.

Neighborhood searches were conducted and the preliminary investigation revealed that the incident took place in the 400 block of Diablo Way, after which the victim walked to the First Street location where he summoned assistance. This appears to be an isolated incident, and the case remains under investigation.

Seems like on of our Antioch thugs got lost in downtown Brentwood.
