At 6:00 pm tonight, (December 7), the Veterans of Oakley and guests will be conducting a wreath laying and remembrance ceremony at the city of Oakley’s Veterans Memorial for the losses suffered 75 years ago at Pearl Harbor Hawaii.
The entire community is invited to attend this short event that will coincide with the Pearl Harbor Remembrance & Beacon Lighting on Mt Diablo which can be observed from the Oakley Veterans Memorial weather permitting.
The ceremony will be conducted rain or clear skies at the corner of Main Street and Norcross in the City of Oakley.
