Following last year’s hit presentation of his Broadway tribute, The Phantom of the Opera star Franc D’Ambrosio returns to The El Campanil Cabaret Series celebrating Movie Music with his critically acclaimed one-man show, Franc D’Ambrosia’s HOLLYWOOD.

This year’s show takes us on his journey from the Bronx to Hollywood, celebrating songs from many of his favorite Silver Screen classics along the way including FUNNY FACE, BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY’S, TOP HAT, MOONSTRUCK, PENNIES FROM HEAVEN and, of course, THE GODFATHER and THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA.

D’AMBROSIO portrayed the famed masked man close to 3,000 times, bringing more than five million theatre-goers to their feet for over six years. He starred in the now legendary Andrew Lloyd Weber musical for a year and a half in the National Tour, and five years in the San Francisco production. Thus, at one point, earning the title The World’s Longest Running Phantom.

He has also starred in the revival of SWEENEY TODD on Broadway, A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC, SHE LOVES ME, the title role of the musical VALENTINO, and earned a National Theatre Award nomination for Barry Manilow’s COPACABANA. He played Anthony Corleone – the opera singing son of Al Pacino and Diane Keaton in THE GODFATHER – PART III, and is featured on the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack.

His recorded version of this show will be available at his performance, along with his previous recording of Franc D’Ambrosio’s BROADWAY, which is the #1 selling CD on the LML label.
