Sustainable Contra Costa has SEVEN workshops coming up in March throughout the county which includes a March 11 event in Pittsburg, CA.

Kelley Burnham teaches you about healthy soil without chemicals; what to plant and where, with special emphasis on habitat for bees, butterflies, and beneficial insects; which plants work well together and which don’t; good and bad bug identification; make your own, all-natural “Killah Bug Spray!”

On April 8, they will also be hosting Gardening in Containers and Small Spaces workshop.
You can still have a beautiful garden, with plenty of fruits and veggies, on your patio, deck, or other small space. Learn all the tips and tricks for successful growing in containers and other confined areas.
