Strategic Threat Management of Antioch Honored for Hiring Veterans

East County Today wanted to recognize one of our site sponsors, Larry Treat from Strategic Threat Management who was recognized for the work he does in the community with veterans and for the hiring veterans.  He was honored yesterday with a Certificate of Appreciation by the EDD, California Employer Advisory Council and the Veterans Employment Committee.

About the Veterans Employment Committee:
The Veterans Employment Committee is committed to helping veterans gain and maintain employment. We are currently funding free oil changes and safety inspections to keep veteran’s vehicles in good working order. We also work with employers to provide necessary items a veteran needs to work in their organization if they are unable to afford them. We also do consultations for VA claim filing and appeals, upgrading a discharge, and provide workshops through the VET NET Job Club geared toward making a veteran job-ready and confident in the civilian workforce.
