On September 10, 2014, the Stockton Police Department and the Alcohol, Firearms, Tobacco, and Explosives wrapped up a several months long investigation into one of Stockton’s most notorious criminal street gangs, the Flyboys. As part of Operation Ceasefire, this gang was identified as one of the most active and violent gangs. Their criminal activity was City-wide.

Chief Eric Jones said, “The Flyboys obviously paid no attention to the Ceasefire message to put down the weapons and stop the violence. The investigation into this menacing criminal street gang led to many arrests and weapons being taken off the streets because they didn’t listen and continued with their violent criminal activity. This should serve as another reminder to those groups or individuals who have heard the Ceasefire message. Either adhere to Ceasefire or face a relentless enforcement mission because the Police Department is committed to using whatever resources we have to stop the violence.”

On September 10, 2014, Stockton PD’s SWAT and San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office SWAT served search and arrest warrants at six locations in the City and took down the most influential leaders in this gang. The search warrants were served at the following locations:

2. 9800 block of Milan Drive

5. 1500 block of E. Seventh Street
6. 2300 block of Oxford Way
