Six Injured in Rollover Crash on Byron Highway, 1 Patient Airlifted to Local Hospital

At 7:40 am Thursday, East Contra Costa Fire Protection District firefighters responded to Byron Highway and Orwood Road in Brentwood on a report of a vehicle crash.

Upon arrival, crews located an overturned vehicle and a total of 6 patients. After investigation, a medical helicopter was requested for 1 patient who sustained moderate injuries. Another patient was transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital while four others declined care for minor injuries.

No further information was provided.

I was the first person to call the police, it looked worse in person but when I was there someone was stuck under the car. And a correction it was 7:40. I know the person in the red car is ok because I saw him at school so that’s good.

The others must have been properly restrained. Just WOW!!
