At 4:21 am Saturday, the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District was dispatched to a report of a residential structure fire in the 8200 block of Lone Tree Way across from Virginia Drive in Brentwood.
Firefighters arrived on scene to locate a home fully involved with at least four vehicles on fire and others threatened. A portion of Lone Tree Way was shut down due to fire hoses in the roadway.
Crews from both East Contra Costa Fire and Contra Costa Fire battled heavy fog and access issues to the fire, there was also gas on the ground which limited access where they took a defensive attack to the fire before it was deemed out 80-minutes later.
In total, six people were displaced which included 4-children and the Red Cross was requested.
