The following are a sampling of calls handled by the Brentwood Police Department between September 19 through October 1 according to information provided by Brentwood Police.

Assault

  • 9/20 – First St.: RES-1 and RES-2 engaged in a mutual combat.
  • 9/22 – Balfour Rd: INV-1 and INV-2 in physical altercation over late night pickle consumption.
  • 9/23 – Sand Creek Rd: While jogging on Sand Creek Rd VIC was stuck in the back by RES.
  • 9/24 – Putter Ct.: VIC reported RES open hand slapped him across face. RES is his step mother. VIC did not desire prosecution.
  • 9/29 – Lone Tree Way: VIC-1 and VIC-2 were involved in a physical altercation.

Auto Theft

  • 9/19 – Bonita Way: RES stole VIC’s vehicle from driveway over night.
  • 9/20 – Brushwood Pl: Unknown RES stole VIC’s vehicle from the driveway. Vehicle entered into SVS. Vehicle was located and removed from SVS
  • 9/25 – Lone Tree Way: Unknown RES took VIC’s parked vehicle without permission. Occurred between 2130-2330 hours.
  • 9/26 – Glenwillow Dr: VIC vehicle stolen from driveway on 9-26-14 between 0530 hours and 0815 hours.
  • 9/26 – Stonewood Dr.: VIC vehicle stolen from the street between 9-25-14 at 2330 hours and 9-26-14 at 0515 hours.

Burglary – Auto

  • 9/23 – San Jose Ave: RES smashed VIC’s vehicle windows and stole numerous items from within. Occurred on 09/23/14 between 2110 and 2120.
  • 9/24 – Lone Tree Way: RES broke VICs window of vehicle and stole backpack while parked in the Melo’s parking lot.
  • 9/24 – Sand Creek Rd.: VIC’s passenger side front window was smashed and several items were stolen at 1957 hours. Stolen credit cards from VIC’s vehicle were used at Shell on Lone Tree at 2030 hours.

 

Burglary – Business

  • 9/26 – Balfour: ARR-1 and ARR-2 entered the business with intent to steal alcoholic beverages. Total value estimated at $2,804.55. ARR-1 and ARR-2 were also found to be on probation. ARR-1 and ARR-2 to MDF.

 

 

Burglary – Residential

  • 9/19 – Cerritos Rd.: Unknown RES entered VIC’s locked vehicle. Total loss approximately $2,800.
  • 9/22 – Mericrest St.: RES forced entry into VIC’S home through the side garage door and looked through VIC’S belongings.
  • 9/25 – Montana St.: Between 9/23/14 and 9/24/14, an unknown RES forced entry into the garage via side door pry. No entry into residence and no items taken.
  • 9/26 – Torrey Pines Dr.: Rear slider shattered and jewelry taken. Occurred 09/26/14 0900-1120.
  • 9/28 – Havenwood Ave: VIC reported RES broke into her apartment and stole her property (jewelry, clothing, electronics, and children’s toys). No signs of forced entry. (9/27/14 2100-9/28/14 0700)
  • 10/1 – Ranchwood Dr.: Unidentified RES entered VIC’s residence and stole jewelry and game consoles. Total loss is under investigation.

 

 

Burglary – Other

  • 9/29 – Sand Creek: Forced entry into a locked storage container during the weekend. Approximately $7200 worth of copper wire and construction tools were taken.

 

 

DUI

  • 9/20 – W. Country Club Dr.: ARR stopped based on citizens reporting he was driving recklessly. ARR was under the influence of prescription drugs. ARR to MDF
  • 9/25 – Nectar Dr.: ARR stopped for vehicle code violation, and found to be driving under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. ARR to MDF.
  • 9/27 – Garin Parkway: ARR-1 stopped for a VC violation. ARR-1 determined to be DUI. ARR-2 was determined to be to intoxicated to care for herself. ARR- 1 and ARR-2 to MDF.
  • 9/27 – Sand Creek: ARR- was stopped for a vehicle code violation and determined to be driving under the influence. ARR- was also on felony probation. ARR- to MDF.
  • 9/27 – Balfour: ARR was involved in a non-injury traffic collision. ARR found to be DUI alcohol and drugs. ARR was released on a signed promise to appear.
  • 9/28 – Jeffery Way: ARR was stopped for a VC violation and found to be driving under the influence of alcohol. ARR to MDF. VEH released to family member.
  • 10/1 – Sand Creek: ARR vehicle stopped for CVC violation. ARR was DUI with felony priors, suspended for DUI, and in possession of marijuana. ARR to MDF.

 

 

Embezzlement

  • 9/30 – Lone Tree Way: ARR- was placed under citizen’s arrest for embezzling $1222.76 worth of merchandise. ARR- also had a misdemeanor warrant for her arrest out of Madera County. ARR- MDF.
  • 10/1 – Second St.: ARR embezzled money from US Bank. ARR was placed under citizen’s arrest and released on a PTA.

Forgery

  • 9/22 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR possessed counterfeit $100 bill. ARR released per 849(b) PC.

 

Fraud

  • 9/19 – Roselinda Ct.: VIC’S personal information used to open an account in 2005.
  • 9/20 – Oakville Ct.: VIC reported her credit card was fraudulently used by RES to make $1,799.82 in total purchases.
  • 9/23 – Brentwood Blvd: RES used VIC’s personal information to change her medical billing address.
  • 9/24 – Mission Fields Ln: RES opened a Dish Network account using VIC’S name in Alabama.
  • 9/26 – Second St.: Unknown RES attempted to pass a counterfeit $100 bill. No loss to business.

 

 

Grand Theft

  • 9/21 – Winged Food Rd: no info provided
  • 9/26 – Craig Ct.: Unknown RES stole several items of jewelry from VIC. Total value estimated at $6,800.

 

 

H&S Violation

  • 9/22 – Birch St.: ARR was contacted and found to be under the influence of a controlled substance.
  • 9/26 – Troon Dr.: ARR was in possession of suspected MDMA.
  • 9/27 – Central Park Pl: ARR found unconscious and partially unclothed. ARR found to be in possession of hypodermic needles in violation of his probation. ARR to MDF.
  • 9/29 – Sand Creek Rd: ARR contacted and determined to be under the influence of a CNS stimulant. ARR transported to Sutter Delta for medical evaluation.

 
Narcotics Violations

  • 9/19 –Homecoming Way: ARR-1 and ARR-2 were stopped for VC violation. ARR-1 found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine. ARR-1 to MDF. ARR-2 found to be in possession of illegal dangerous fireworks. ARR-2 released on a PTA.
  • 9/19 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR stopped for VC violation. ARR found to be in possession of methamphetamine and pipe. ARR to MDF.
  • 9/23 – Balfour Rd: ARR vehicle stopped for CVC violations. ARR was found to be in possession of suspected cocaine and transported to MDF.
  • 9/24 – Chestnut St.: ARR was contacted and found to be in possession of methamphetamine. ARR to MDF.
  • 9/26 – Sand Creek Rd: ARR stopped for VC violation. ARR determined to possess over 6 ounces of suspected marijuana. ARR to MDF.
  • 9/27 – Tampalais Ave: ARR arrested for public intoxication and possession of suspected methamphetamine. ARR to MDF.
  • 9/30 – Second St.: A traffic enforcement stop was conducted for vehicle code violation, ARR failed to yield ARR was stopped and determined to have an out of county misdemeanor no cite warrant. ARR was determined to be under the influence of a CNS stimulant and in possession of suspected Meth and paraphernalia. ARR subse…

  • 9/19 – Sand Creek Rd: RES tried to return merchandise he purchased on a prior date with a fictitious bill. Probation Violations
  • 10/1 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR was contacted and found to be in violation of probation and under the influence of alcohol. ARR to MDF.

 

 

Restraining Order Violation

  • 9/22 – Brentwood Blvd: RES failed to exchange child per custody order.

Robbery

  • 9/21 – Lone Tree Way: RES-1 and RES-2 stole merchandise and when confronted by Loss Prevention, RES-1 brandished pepper spray and threatened to use it against employees. RES fled in a vehicle and were not located.

 

Suspicious Circumstance

  • 9/22 – American Ave: Report of “Life Skills” student touching a classmate inappropriately.
  • 9/29 – Brentwood Blvd: RP reported INV was following her and made inappropriate comments to her.

 

 

Theft/Petty

  • 9/21 – Hanson LN: Unknown RES entered VIC’s unlocked vehicle and stole vehicle registration and insurance.
  • 9/22 – Lone Tree Way: RES entered Home Depot and stole two Dewalt drills. RES fled in a white mid 90’s BMW.
  • 9/22 – Lone Tree Way: Wallet stolen from Winco parking lot. Occurred from 09/22/2014, at approximately 1000 hours to 09/22/2014, at approximately 1100 hours
  • 9/23 – Second St.: ARR attempted to steal two shirts from CVS but was stopped at the door by staff. ARR left her purse behind and was later arrested. ARR was released on a juvenile affidavit to INV.
  • 9/23 – Sand Creek: VIC left vehicle unlocked and RES stole iPhone and work tools. Value estimated at $400.
  • 9/29 – Cerritos Rd: Wallet taken from unlocked VEH.
  • 9/29 – Sand Creek: ARR and five other unidentified responsible stole six bicycles from the front of McDonalds.
  • 10/1 – Rice St.: ARR was prowling on VIC’s front porch and stole shoes which were later recovered. ARR was located a short distance away in possession of controlled substance paraphernalia. ARR to MDF.
  • 10/1 – Lone Tree Way: ARR stole several items from business. RP was unable to identify ARR, so officer was called to scene. ARR found to have an outstanding warrant. ARR to MDF. Total estimated loss/recovered $149.94.
  • 10/2 – Cypress St.: Victim arrived home after being out of town and discovered mail box open and no mail in the box. Victim has email receipts for delivery of three packages valued at $30 total.

 

Vandalism

  • 9/19 – Continente Ave.: RES broke the front and back driver’s side windows of VIC vehicle with large rocks.
  • 9/22 – City Park: Antenna’s from 4 City of Brentwood vehicles were broken off on the top floor of the City Hall Garage.
  • 9/24 – Sand Creek Rd: VIC’s vehicle vandalized in the parking lot of Los Medanos Community College by an unidentified RES causing $1,701.45 in damage.
  • 9/28 – Bellmeade Ct.: Graffiti painted on the side of VIC’S fence that in adjacent to the Marsh Creek trail. Est. damage $50.
  • 9/29 – Cerritos Rd: UNK RES cut a rear door alarm wire with an unknown object.
  • 10/1 – Treadwell Ct.: VICs vehicle and residence defaced with several food items. VIC later reported that two of her lawn lights were damaged during the incident.
  • 10/2 – Corte Vista St.: Unknown substance was put on VIC-1 and VIC-2’s vehicles. Unknown substance removed and damaged the paint from the vehicles.
  • 10/2 – Wildflower: RES spray painted on the wall on the north west corner of Wildflower Loop at the south entrance to Garin Park.
  • 10/2 – Diamond Springs: Unknown RES dented VIC’s vehicle. Total loss approximately $1,000.
  • 10/2 – Downie Point Dr: RES used a BB gun to vandalize VIC’s window, causing approximately $300 in damage.
  • 10/2 – Treadwell Ct.: I was dispatched to Treadwell CT. for a report of vandalism. RES threw eggs at RPs house and broke a lawn light, approximate value of $50.

 

Vehicle Code Violations

  • 9/26 – Oak St.: ARR was stopped and issued a citation for “Spinning donuts” (Reckless Driving) in the lot behind Liberty High School student parking.

Warrant

  • 9/19 – Handel Way: ARR had an outstanding no bail warrant for his arrest. ARR to MDF.
  • 9/20 – Balfour: ARR stopped for VC violation. ARR found to have felony warrant. ARR to MDF.
  • 9/20 – Fairview: ARR stopped for VC violation. ARR was found to have an outstanding warrant. ARR to MDF.
  • 9/22 – Rockwell St.: ARR- was contacted and determined to have an outstanding warrant for her arrest. ARR signed a PTA and was released from the scene.
  • 9/25 – Dainty Ave: ARR was contacted and found to have an outstanding arrest warrant for a violation of probation. ARR to MDF.
  • 9/26 – Second St.: ARR was located sleeping in the hallway of the business. ARR was determined to have a misdemeanor no bail warrant for DUI out of Santa Clara County. ARR to MDF.
  • 9/27 – Cindy Pl: ARR was detained for shoplifting and found to have a no-cite warrant. ARR to MDF. RES was released prior to police arrival by RP utilizing the store’s direct file process.
  • 9/29 – Cherry Tree Ct.: ARR was contacted at her residence, was confirmed ARR to have an outstanding misdemeanor out of county no cite warrant. ARR to MDF.
