California State Senator Steve Glazer will be hosting a free tax assistance workshop in Antioch in conjunction with Earn it! Keep It Contra Costa. The Tax Assistance Workshop is aimed to assist taxpayers with annual incomes of $54,000 or less.
The workshop will be held at 420 W. Third Street in Antioch from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm on the following days:
- March 14
- March 18
- March 21
- March 25
Taxpayers must bring:
- Photo ID
- Social Security Card or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number for all family members
- All W-2’s, 1089’s or 1099’s (if any)
- Copy of prior year tax return
- Health insurance documentation
- Bank account and routing number for direct deposit of your refund or direct debit of your balance due
- Other income/expense information
- Total tuition fees & expenses
- Total expenses paid for childcare
- Day care providers identifying number
- Landlords name, address and phone number for the CA Renters Tax Credit
