On Saturday August 6, students within the Antioch Unified School District are invited to the 2016-17 Stuff the Bus event which is a kick off to the school year with a school supply giveaway.
Claryssa Wilson, a Sophomore at Antioch High, has scheduled her Kickoff the School year School Supply Give a way for Saturday, August 6th from 11am-2pm located 3440 Hillcrest Ave, Antioch. Students within grades K-12 can receive FREE school supplies.
Claryssa has been very busy shopping and preparing.
She also credited the Golden State Warriors for joining and supporting her efforts by providing a limited supply of Official Golden State Warriors Backpacks. Her goal is to serve over 200 students with the necessary supplies to start the school year strong.
“I feel that it is important for students to be prepared on the first day of school because it sets them up for a successful school year and limits the excuses of not being able to learn and participate due to the lack of supplies.” states Wilson.
