San Ramon Police Seek Attempted Robbery Suspect

The San Ramon Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with an attempted robbery at a local Starbucks at around 10:00 am Monday.

According to police,  the Starbucks was set as a meeting location through a Craigslist ad for the sale of a Rolex watch. Police say the victim only sustained a minor injury and was able to hang on to the watch.

The suspect was described as being 20 years old, 6′, 190 lbs. He was last seen getting into this vehicle, possibly a Nissan Rogue.

Selling a Rolex on craigslist is a recipe for disaster, especially if the “buyer” is a young, black male. Glad he was able to hold onto his watch and wasn’t hurt too badly. Unbelievable.
