On February 26, 2017 at approximately 1:32 AM, Officers from Bayview Police Station responded to a residence on the 1000 block of Bowdoin regarding a home invasion.
Officers met with the victims, a 43 year-old male and a 35 year-old male who are both residents of the premise. The first victim told officers that he woke to sounds of knocking on the front door. When he opened the door, two suspects forced their way into the home.
The first suspect was armed with a handgun and he struck the victim on the head with the gun. The second suspect began punching the victim. When the second victim went to the hall way to see what was going on, the first suspect pointed the gun at him and ordered him to sit down in the hallway.
The suspects continued to assault the first victim and then fled on foot. The first victim went to the front door of the home and saw the suspects running north on Bowdoin. As they fled, the first suspect fired two shots in the victim’s direction.
Through the course of the investigation, two suspects were identified. On March 2, 2017 at approximately 7:00 AM, members of the San Francisco Police Gang Task Force Unit responded to a residence on the 4400 block of Buckskin Street in Antioch in order to serve a search warrant.
They saw the intended suspect leave the premise in a red Toyota and followed him. The officers effected a traffic stop at a gas station on the 3400 block of Hillcrest. Jeremy Anthony Flores, age 33 was taken into custody and later booked as San Francisco County Jail for attempted murder, burglary in the first degree, false imprisonment and conspiracy.
The search warrant was carried out for Flores’ vehicle and residence.
At approximately 7:45 AM, that same morning, members of the San Francisco Police Gang Task Force Unit served a search warrant on 1200 block of Kilcrease Circle in El Sobrante. Ivan Gonzalez, age 38 was taken into custody and later booked at San Francisco County Jail for attempted murder, burglary in the first degree, false imprisonment and conspiracy.
While arrests have been made, this remains an open investigation.

Reading these articles have provided a solution to solving Antioch’s crime problem. All we have to do is get outside cities to solve them for us because we are too incompetent.
Over 30 years old and haven’t learned you rob companies not people! Goodness gracious. All the successful criminals know this. You don’t do crime face to face you do it behind the scenes. All the big corporations know this from Wells Fargo to State Farm come on folks.
Antioch is a sanctuary city….all the roaches have found their way here. Bring back the APD of the eighties and start kicking some ass.
