The Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory @ The Streets of Brentwood is holding their 6th Annual Fudge for Troops Campaign through the month of July.
This year they are partnering with Operation Creekside (operationcreekside.org), to receive their fresh Fudge donations and ship them in fabulous care packages to our Servicemen and Women stationed overseas.
Over the last five years, nearly 1,000 Pounds of fudge has been donated and they are looking to another generous donation year to send troops more fudge.
According to Christine McKnight, owner, the campaign is quite simple! For every 1 Pound of Fudge purchased by a customer, we will match that purchase with a 1 Pound Donation of Fudge for our Troops.
The Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory offers a variety of Fudge flavors to choose from and all of the Fudge is cooked from scratch right in the store making it fresh.
McKnight says their July goal is 125 pounds of fudge sold to their customers which results in a donation of 125 pounds of Fudge being sent to our Troops.
“We are working hard and having a lot of fun in our store sharing about our efforts with our Customers,” said McKnight. “Our Customers are incredibly supportive of our efforts and many come back year after year to support our efforts and our Troops.”
In addition to the Fudge, they have added on Letters to the Troops to this campaign.
Customers are welcome to come visit our store any time in July to write a note on our provided post cards and we will include their messages and sentiments with our Fudge Donation for the Servicemen and Women to receive.
“We are super excited for Letters to the Troops as it makes our donation all the more personal when our customers send their own thoughts and well wishes along with our delicious Fudge,” said McKnight.
